World's largest flag record set in Lahore, Pakistan

 Pakistani youths make the biggest human national flag at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore

More than 29,000 Pakistanis formed the world's largest “human national flag” in the eastern city of Lahore, smashing a old record set  by Bangladeshi students and army men with the participation of 27,117 last year. A total of 29,000 people stood up in the national hockey stadium to make the green and white Pakistani standard, smashing the old record set by
Bangladesh.


“It's amazing, amazing display of unity of 29,o00 people here in Lahore tonight,” Guinness World Records adjudicator told a cheering crowd. “Every single one of you holds this record,” he said, handing over the certificate to Punjab provincial government representative Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.


Earlier 42,813 people in the national hockey stadium sang the national anthem together, smashing the previous best of 15,243 held by India.
